Gwen and her family need your help now more than ever. 5 year old Gwen was recently diagnosed with a DIPG tumor, a rare cancer at the base of the brain stem. She is currently at Children’s hospital and has undergone surgery to relieve symptoms of the tumor. She has lots of medical expenses piling up, including clinical trials to fight this cancer. Her mother, Christan, is also currently pregnant. This money will go towards medical expenses for Gwen, as well as the financial burden of travel, time off work, food, and other expenses for the family as they help Gwen through this tough time.

We also created an Amazon wish list for some things we need for Gwen, our 5 year old Princess who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated; you don’t have to buy the quantities that are on the list. We are turning a room into hers and we need bedding for her parents. Lots of cleaning supplies since she has a PICC line. We need to have extra blankets and sheets in case of accidents. Pull-ups and wipes as well as her needs change. I have added a few things to help decorate her room too. We need a monitor to be able to keep an eye on her because she is unstable so we need to be around if she wakes up or tries to get up. About Gwen
Shortly after her 5th birthday, Gwen started having difficulty with her coordination. After visiting her doctor in Tyler, she was told to travel to Dallas for further testing. After a long and difficult full day at the hospital, they found a mass in her brain. Unfortunately, the mass was determined to be a DIPG tumor, a rare cancer at the base of the brain stem. This website has been created in order to raise awareness, gather donations for Gwen’s medical expenses, and for loved ones to follow Gwen’s journey and leave encouraging words.

Gwen doing Gwen things today! She had her some homemade cookies thanks to a friend, Nechelle. I guess eating cookies is a tough job so she needed a nap after that. Please keep praying we get Gwen into the best trial for her. Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean!!! Pray she has as few symptoms as possible, stays happy, and we are lead to the best treatment. 💕💕💕 Thank you Nechelle for the yummy cookies! 💕

Today was Gwen’s last day of radiation. Her left eye is bothering her a lot today. They said she will get worse this next month. Please pray for her. Please pray that the trial we pick is the right one and that she qualifies for the one that is picked. So many decisions over the next month. Pray for her parents as these decisions are theirs to decide. And please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean as she has gone through so much and doesn’t deserve any of this! 💕💕💕

Gwen got a box today from a friend, Princess Hailey’s Hope. They sent her some great things like a slime kit, which she had to make immediately. She got a lot of really cool stuff. They really took time to send exactly what Gwen loves. Gwen also took advantage of the nice weather today and sat in front of the pool. Tomorrow is a pretty big day, it’s the last day of Radiation for Gwen! Which also means the largest dose she will receive. Please pray for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean! 💕💕💕 Please pray for her mom and dad too as this has been so hard on them too. Please pray for our whole family, it’s been a lot on everyone! 💕

Gwen wanted to get a little sunshine today ☀️ and enjoy looking at the pool! She had an oncology appointment today too. They did labs and confirmed that it is DIPG which we all knew but just hoped it wasn’t. Her biopsy still isn’t back yet. Please keep praying for our perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean! 💕💕💕

Hey guys Gwen waiting for her radiation this morning and deciding it wasn’t bad today. Then she wanted ice cream and snacks, while Nala and Simba begged. She took a break on baking today. She did however have to go to the grocery store again. She watched a lot of Bluey today too. Please keep praying for our Princess Gwen our Little Bean! 💕💕💕

Gwen was up and ready to bake at 9:00 this morning 😅 we’re going to have to start selling cupcakes and cakes baked by Princess Gwen. 😂 She had to wait until she got back from her treatments but she made grandpa help today. Grandpa spent the night with her last night so he had to help bake today. He did a good job. She also got an Otter 🦦 from a friend in the mail today. Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean! 💕💕💕 They had to go to the store to buy more cake mixes so we could bake more cupcakes, muffins, and cakes. Because Gwen said we can’t run out! 😂

Gwen is the baking Queen! She decided she wanted to bake cupcakes 🧁 and a cake 🎂 this afternoon. She wanted to use her pink whisk. We all know I will never tell her no. So we baked cupcakes and a cake. She made her dad help this time. She made him work extra hard at getting the lumps out. We cherish these days and pray the bad days never come. Gwen doing Gwen things today. She likes us to fill her lunch box up and she just loves to see what’s inside. She got all her blankets and sheets changed and washed today. She got some snuggles from Nala because Nala thinks warm blankets out of the dryer are for her. 🙄 We decorated her room a little more this weekend.
