We took Gwen to Texas Tulips today. She wasn’t a fan and didn’t allow us to take any good pics. Then we took her to Magic Time Machine and she seemed to like that. She got excited and waved to the hostesses. But again she wouldn’t let us take any good photos so you get what you get. Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess our Little Bean!!! 💕💕💕💕

Today Gwen and I baked a cake. 💕

We went to the store and she said she was a very good cooker. I think she’s been practicing w her Gimmie. She picked her cake out and apparently the first thing you’re supposed to do is taste the batter when you pour it into the bowl while it’s still dry. 😅 Then when we were icing it she decided that licking the icing straight off the spoon was better. 😂 She is the best cooker and the cake had lots of extra love in it. It’s the best cake I have ever had! French vanilla with strawberry icing and lots of Gwen to sweeten it! 💕 Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean!! 💕💕💕

The cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Giving the thumbs up shopping today at the thrift shop. With her mom and dad. She found her the cutest dress so I think it was a successful trip. These steroids man…. When she changes her mind which is so often and when she says no you can probably hear her at your house. 😅 She’s handling all the other side effect well just the mood swings and the rage from the steroids. Gwen had her radiation today. She goes everyday during the week Monday thru Friday. She hasn’t wanted to go anywhere much the past few days. She likes to play her tablet and she will let us know when she is ready for a nap. She tells us which bed she wants. She will tell us her Princess bed or her bed in Judsen’s room. She is the cutest thing talking to her games and being so focused. We never take a single moment for granted. Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Sweet Little Bean!! 💕💕

Hey guys, sorry I didn’t post yesterday. Gwen had a good day. It was me on the other hand who was having the emotional battle of why can’t we just find a cure. I look at these absolutely beautiful sunsets and painted skies and think the God who can do that can do anything! I am human and I lost myself a little bit last night. We treasure every moment we get with Gwen. She started off her morning with some Nutella toast which she was asking her mom for at radiation and Simba and Nala were watching her eat every bite. Then she went for a car ride with mom and dad. She wanted to stay home the rest of the day and just watch tv and play her games in her bed in Judsen’s room.  She has taken over his trundle bed since she was little. She would just walk right in there and tell him she was going to her bed. 😂 She also got some cards and surprises from some new friends but wouldn’t let me take any pictures. She’s super thankful for everything anyone has sent her or helped us with. We all are! Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Sweet Little Bean! 💕💕💕

This might be the best picture I’ve gotten of her smiling since she got sick. She’s absolutely beautiful.  These are the moments I live for. She woke up so happy today. She came downstairs (she was carried) and said “Good morning G”. She of course wanted to go for a car ride all day. She went to Target to get a few things we needed and a few clothes. She is outgrowing things quickly. (The steroids make her so hungry and eat a lot. They have her on a high dose because the radiation will make the tumor flare up at first). Then she went to take Judsen back. She really just wants to ride in the car. She doesn’t care if we’re going anywhere, she just wants to ride. The best Saturday morning in the world….. watching Bluey, having 3 pieces of pizza, eating our blue (cheddar sour cream chips), and a donut. All while also watching our tablet in our lap. So thankful for these blessings. Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Sweet Bean! 💕💕💕

Gwen finally got to go to the zoo today! It was so cold, we didn’t see much but she enjoyed her popcorn and she enjoyed seeing her Mom, Dad, Gimmie, Grandpa, Uncle Jake, Uncle Judsen, G-Pa, and G all in one place. This is a pic of Gwen after radiation today. She had a good day. She went for a car ride to help me today. Then she went to Buccees to pick up Uncle Judsen. She was so excited, she did a little shopping. She found herself a Buccees rubber ducky, some horses to paint, some hot pink slime, and a blanket that is cotton candy colored that made her squeal when she rolled by. She just had to have it. 😂 She had really been asking to go for car rides. I think maybe because of all the time she spent in the hospital, she just wants to make sure she can leave if she wants. Gwen had a big day today! She had her first day of radiation today. She got her hair cut for the first time for real besides at the hospital. I can’t speak highly enough about Sweet & Sassy Salon. It’s in South Lake and I called before we went. I explained the situation, told them to please tell me no if they weren’t comfortable. She would yell at the and not like them and tell them no the whole time. They fit her in today and they washed her hair, cut; she made it look good with what she had to work with. They were so patient and kind. Then didn’t want to let us pay. We insisted on paying her; she earned her money. Then Gwen wanted donuts which she got. This afternoon she went out for her first trip in 24 days. She requested to go to a toy store, have ice cream, and candy. We took her to the mall. I think she had a good first day. She asked to go back bome to her bed. (She was only out for about an hour) Please keep praying for our Perfect Princess Gwen our Sweetest Little Bean! 💕💕💕
