I came to Galveston to take my son on a fishing trip that I bought him for Christmas. It was planned before Gwen got sick. It was so hard to leave her and I may have been holding back tears as I left the house. We drove all the way in storms. It took us 7 1/2 hours to get here. The stretch between Conroe and Houston on I45 I will forever hate. π The electricity was off when we got here. Then it went off at get up at 4:30 again this morning and we had to be at the boat at 6:30. We were on the boat for an hour of him driving out to the fishing spot. At this point he had to keep stopping. The waves were so big I was getting thrown in the air off the bench and the big coolers that you could probably put 4 or 5 of me in were sliding all over. He canceled the trip and brought us back. So needless to say the trip has not been great. However, I did get this pic of Gwen when Christan asked her if they could FaceTime me. So I got a FaceTime call with her which absolutely made up for all the bad on the trip. She doesnβt like to talk on the telephone home to anyone so Iβm super thankful she surprised me and gave me the two thumbs up of approval to call me. Please keep our Perfect Princess Gwen our Little Bean in your prayers!πππ Iβm so over 2024 π
